Language Translation

Hi Experts,

I need to convert some descriptions in spanish language. Spanish language is not installed in my system.

I need to show the spanish texts in english version. this texts should be displayed dynamically.

Is there any way to convert language from English to spanish, if the new version is not installed in system.

I checked in forum. But no one matches with my requirement.

did u mean that u want to maintain some texts in spanish for the english texts?

if yes, try to drill down to your specific area from the menu in SE63.

Here is the requirement.

I have one custom table ZDESC which have all descriptions in english.

We didn't install spanish language. I mean we can't login spanish language.So user will login in english only.

In my module pool program, I am displaying description fields in english. But user wants description in both english and spanish languages.

Since we didn't install the spanish language in our SAP, we can't translate any texts from XX to ES language.

In this situation, how can I display spanish texts dynamically?

Anyone got idea?

you dont need to install spanish for this.

se11-> table name-> go into the data element-> goto-> translation.

maintain your spanish text here for the english text.

you are done. This will make the user to see the texts in spanish when he logs in.

but you may have to adjust your box lengths based on the length of the spanish text some times.

I tried already this.

When I tried to translate from EN to ES . It was giving error like .. Language not Available on Server

It was showing possible entries are DE language only. not any other languages.

That is the problem.

Is there any other way to translate from english to spanish? like sending to different system/ external, etc.
