Hi All,

i want to know that in ABAP/4,,what is meaning of 4?

and also we say that it is R/3 so in R/3 what is the meaning of R?

R means real time three client in one server R/3

three client

1)apllication server

2)production server

3)database server

and 4 means fourth generation
