Hi,

I am executing the KSB1 transaction online and getting the proper report. But when executing it in background, some of the field values are truncated like cost element.

Can anybody tell me abt this?

Hi,

In KSB1

if you are in ALV Grid display

1st u change to ALV list display

for Change to ALV List Click More Setting -

---

> Remove the Tick from Output in ALV Grid.

Then U Execute the report in frontend. If u see any value truncated. Click the Layout in ALV list Display and Increase the display Length. Then Save Variant as Default variant.

After this Changes U can Execute in Background i am sure the value not truncated.

Hi,

If u are using the function "reuse_alv_grid_display" just change it and use "reuse_alv_list_display" .

Hi Mahendra,

Before Execute the report in back ground change the Spool Request format to maximum column like X_65_800. Please reward points if it is useful.
