IW51 adding custom fields under notification tab

Hi All,

I want to add a custom field under the notification tab of transaction IW51 .

I have used the enhancement QQMA0001 - screen exit 0103 for adding my custom field ,However

it doesn't appear in the output.

Have I missed something or Do I have to do config changes?

Hello,

You have added the field to the appropriate screen in function group XQQM?

Have you also modified EXIT_SAPMIWO0_008 and EXIT_SAPMIWO0_009 to move the field contents to and from the screen?

Hello faizur,

You need to do one SPRO setting (for that Notification Type) for the custom field/s to appear in the Notification. Please follow the Part4 of this document for your requirement. This document will also be helpful for other requirements of using this user-exit.

Thanks for detailed explanation!!!. However in my case all the screen area 1,2,3,4,5 are all filled.

What should I do now?

Obviously, you have to vacate one screen area.

Hi ,

I have been told that I can  copy the std. screen 170 into a custom screen

and place my fields there.

Can this be a possible solution. If yes, how do we do that?

Hello faizur,

sometimes there are some transaction variants activated for transactions, which block the display of custom tabs.

go to SHD0 transaction, input your tcode IW51 there, if any tansaction variant is there...check with your fucntionals whether it is getting used or not...if not getting used, deactivate  it

then your custom tab will appear ...
