IT 0008 screen modification

I have created a custom field on in PA30 for IT 0008 screen.

I didn't get that field when the employee is a US employee.I get that field for UK,German employees.

I get the message as "Data hidden by screen modifications"

How should i overcome this message?

There you can change that I think

You're custom field has to be included in a custom screen and the custom screen have to be add to the infotype using view T582C.

Do yuou know that ?

Sorry Stephan ,I do not have a custom screen;I have a custom field.

I have added that on screen 2000 of infotype 0008.

You should create a custom screen maybe!

Have you check that the field you have add does not belongs to any groups that is disable for US ?

In T588M you can check the groups that are disabled, then check that the field does not belongs to the same group!

But ' The standard is to create a custom screen' in Zprog and customize it!

If you have added the custom field via PM01, then you should check for the netries of ZP000800 in V_T588M.

i can see various entries for variable keys in V_T588M

what is the variable key overe here?.

Hi Prashant,

Then that is excatly the reason the Country Grouping is coming into picture. The value in the Variable key indicates the link between the screen variant and the return value of a feature. I guess the value is P0008 in the Feature field below the Variable key field. Please use PE03 to modify the feature to include US.

Is it possible to enhance IT0008 screen in such a way that the middle part (Wage Type section) will not be available in the screen(Table control)??I guess that is a subscreen 0200.

Hi All:

without modifying CI structure in any standard infotype can we add any field in the screen?i.e, PA table will not be enhanced but in the infotype screen the field will be available.
