Issue with Customizing Entries

Hi Experts,

I have creates some customizing entries, and have translated them to German language by navigating to the menu Goto->Translation-- Entered translated text and saved the entries in customizing request.

now the problem is that while transporting the TR i am getting Error: " Text is only transported in the Original Language " . and the TR is not getting transported.

Could you tell me where i am doing wrong or i have to follow different steps if any.

Hi,

Please execute the program RSTXTRAN to attach your texts in the desired languages(EN and others) and transport standard texts.

Also You can use the SE63 Transport options to transport. Check the below link.

Hi Abhishek

The error displayed in you transport request  means that the text is not included in the request in language  and is not transported.

You can do two as suggested by Arindam or you need to include "ALL" the transport request in the same request again or make a new request for the same.

It is not a basis issue . The issue is related to the Transport request where your translation text are not included in your transport request.

Hi,

Program RSTXTRAN won't help in this case, that is designed to add Standard Text to transports not configuration entries as we have here.  Similarly the link to the SAP help is focused on setting up the translation environment for development objects.

While I can't say I understand the error message you're getting, the easiest way to add language entries for configuration to a transport is to log on in the required language (German in this case) and populate the text.  This will prompt for a transport like any other config change.
