Issue in LSMW direct input method - Material master

Hi All,

I have to update MARC-HERKL, MARC-HERKR, MAEX-ALNUM and MAEX-EMBGR fields of material master. Im using LSMW direct input method. By default, i got the following structures and created relationship with BGR00, BMM00 and BMMH1.

BGR00

BMM00

BMMH1

BMMH2

BMMH3

BMMH4

BMMH5

BMMH6

BMMH7

BMMH8

In field mapping and conversion rule step, i have mapped HERKL and HERKR since it is present in the structure BMMH1. Similarly i have to map the other two fields, but it is not present in any of the structure above. I have checked all the above structures, these two fields are not present and not present in different names also. Please help how to correctly map these two fields?

MAEX ??

I'm not sure that can be done via the normal RMDATIND.

I was sure that add-on had its own program, /SAPSLL/MAEX_UPLOAD_R3 ... have you searched for notes, documentation etc. ???

Hi,

There is no direct input / Bapi to update MAEX table.

As per the understanding the value is populated to ALNUM field by customizing data which is done in VE52 transaction.

In my system its display mode in MM01 and MM02.So if you want to update use recording method.

Thanks all for your replies.

As per SAP note 64254, this is not possible through direct input method.

try LSMW BAPI method it will works
