Issue changing source code of custom FM...

Hello Gurus,

I am trying to change a custom function module. I can go and change impoort export parameters but when I goto source code, everything is white and greyed out. I cannot modify the code even if I am in change mode.

I then try to goto edit -> modification operations -> switch off asisstant sothat I can change sourc code but the swithc off assistant is greyed out.

Can someone please tell me how can change FM source code ? why am I not able to do it in this case ?

what i understood from you Q is your r tying to change standard FM by copying into ZFM

Hello

Assuming that you are working on a DEV system check whether the source system of the function group is identical to the SY-SYSID of the DEV system. If not then you can change it to make source system = DEV.

Hello,

In addition to the above, you can check the source system in SE37

Goto --> Object Directory Entry

To change it, go to SE03 --> Change Object Directory Entries
