Is there any way to output (print/save) the contents of an internal table while in debug mode?

Hi Janet,
This feature of downloading contents of internal table to excel is not there in 4.6C.

Hi Janet,
In the de-bugging mode, you have an icon for excel in the tool bar.just select that & it will ask you the path.Check in the table tab.
Give the internal table name there & then press the excel icon.

Hi,
You can save the contents of the Internal table into an excel sheet 4.7 Version of SAP. I am not very sure of the other older versions.
Anyway ... In the debug mode view the contents of the table by clicking the TABLES button in the Debug screen. Then click the button with an Icon as 'EXCEL' sheet icon. You can infact specify the lines that you want to transfer to excel sheet. This button appears only when you click the TABLES button.

Why would I not have the excel icon on my toolbar? I am in 4.6C.
Thanks so much.

Hi Janet,
You have to check for the excel icon on the table tab or table button,on the tool bar where buttons are there for 'Single Step(F5),Execute(F6),Return(F7) & Run(F8)'.

I think this feature is avilable in 4.7.
Try this--> Right Click on internal table and check is there any command as SAVE as EXCEL sheet.

No. There is no option like that with the right click and it is not on the toolbar.
Does it appear that there is no ability to do this in version 4.6C?
Thanks everyone.

Hi,
Yes. It is avilable in 4.7. If your internal table data is not very huge then you may print them via hard copy or COPY by using CONTROL + Y ,CONTROL+ C and check.

Hi Janet, u can do this easily saving its content into an .xls file, but this feature is only available in the version 4.7 Enterprise, ok ?
Otherwise, i dont know if there's a data exportation method from the SAP Gui from 4.6 and older.
