Hello!

Who can tell me how a new line will be performed

within those FM's INT_SAPSCRIPT_EDITOR

and INT_OI_EDITOR. Suppose I pass a long text

to these FM and want to enforce at designated

points to make a new line. How can it be realized.

You can't.

Go to SE37. Double click on the type of the table: "TLINE". Then double click on each component type, and click on documentation. That's the format you have to get the data into before you call the fm.

And it's usually best to avoid unreleased function modules. They could be changed or disappear without warning.

See - when you ask a question with sufficient detail, you get helpful answers. Wasn't too painful was it?

Hi Erdem.

You have asked many questions about this subject now. You received many answers, too. Mathew has given a very valuable answer. The hint to be carefull with nonreleased function modules is something really important.

This is a forum. You can control what you write in the question. But you cannot control what is written in the answers. If you don't accept others answering your questions in their way then don't ask in the first place.

This is very true. And the SCN has some rules of engagement. Please read them. And then SCN is the SAP community network. A community consists of people helping each other. As far as I can judge it Mathew has helped many people here and he answers a lot of questions. And as a moderator of this forum I'm very happy that we have active community members like him who make this community work. I'm not happy at all if people tell this active community members that they should not participate. And I will not tolerate this kind of postings here in this forum.

since the problem is still existing.

What's about you ? Regarding the rules you are informed very well.

Are you also good in solving problems like mine.

The circumstance being here at SAP Forum doesn't prevent

Hi,

Again, like its been said before, you can't. You will need to add a new row in the TLINE everytime you encounter a "\n" or "\r". Its the only way you can get new lines into the table.

So that means, when you come to the point where you need to add a new line, add a new row in the TLINE table, set your data cursor on the new row and then your text.
