Input parameter on selection screen

Hi,

When i insert Excise Document No. (123456) on selection screen field, it display the output.

My problem is that in some cases, my Excise Document No. is like 123456c.

How can i display as an output these Excise Document No's also. Becuase when i insert 123456, it shows only 123456 record not 123456c.

Hi,

Try giving your input as 123456* (if your selection field is a select option)

use select-options to get data for both the inputs

Selection screen field should be of same Type as Excise Document No.Then there will be no issue.

If you are asking for dialog program , make the field from dictionary.
