Input box on Application toolbar ?

Is there any way to put an input box in a application tool bar.

Have you ever seen such an input box in any SAP standard application?

I have not (which does not exclude its existance).

Yet I am convinced that this is not possible and would not make sense (an application toolbar is there to provide functions and not for entering data).

Thanks for the reply.

In the SAP Easy Access Screen (Initial SAP Screen), we got a input box to enter the transaction codes (Command Field), is it possible to make it work for our requirement. I mean how to include in our custom transaction gui status.

Hello Navneeth

The command field is available in all screens (standard and custom). Values entered in the command field are transferred to the corresponding ok-code field in the program.
