Infotype Characteristics

Hi,

We have created an customer infotype.

It has been transported successfully to quality client.

On execution on quality, it gives the message 'Infotype does not exist'.

We find that the infotype characteristics missing i.e no entries for this infotype in table V_T582A.

All other entries seem to be ok.

When u create an Infotype, a customizing request has to be created wherein the Infotype Characteristics entries are stored.

The same customizing request needs to be transported too, else the infotype shall not be visible.

Hi Hema,

Goto SM30 -> V_T582A , and go to the infotype u created click it and go to change mode, display it where you have to enter the infotype characteristics like Time constraints, subtype table etc. and save it in a request. This also should be transported along with the Infotype table, screen etc.

Have already done that. Transported successfully to Quality Client. Still it does not work.
