Hi,

Goto transaction SQ02 select the infoset you wish to change, and press the change button.

on the screen displayed, press 'Join' button on the application tool bar where you can join the table with a key field.

In order to include the field on the output goto the corresponding query from SQ01 and press the next buttons until you have arrived at the last screen where in a tree sturcture will be display on the left side of the screen. select the field in the tree sturcture. the field selected will be included in the output the next time you run the query.

Hope this helps,

Harikrishna.

Hi Hari

thanks for the reply,

but my doubt is if we add the table, will all the fields in the table get added or only the field that what we want will get added, in my case i want to add the table EKES to the existing infoset which contains EKKO, EKPO and LFA1. please explain me the whole procedure as i have'nt worked on infosets before and neither know what an infoset is and what an infoset does.

breif explaination is appreciated

Hi,

Once you added the table as i explained in my previous post, the table will appear in the main page of change infoset.

on the right hand of the screen field groups/data fields section will be appearing.

Select the fields one at a time ( from the left hand side tree ) drag them and drop at the field group. then they will be added in the field groups section.

now save and come out of the infoset.

Goto SQ01 to add the field to the query output. Here select the appropiate query ( the infoset of which you are changing ), and press next buttons until you get the last screen wherein you will get a tree structure to add fields. here the newly added fields will appear. you need to select the fields by marking it.

That's all what you need to do..

Hope this helps,

Harikrishna.
