While searching for personal number I am able to see SSN of everybody, which I am not supposed to see. Is there a way to secure against seeing the other people's information. For example: CAT2. when I use serach option for personal number it displays SSN of other peoples, which it shouldn't.

From the top of my head (no HR system within reach) it's object P_ORGIN, field AUTHC, value "M" for matchcode that influences the search screens.

In object PLOG it is field PPFCODE with value LISD and/or LIST

I elimated M from P_ORGIN and LISD/LIST from PLOG, but I am still having the same problem.

Did you take away display rights for the infotype as well?

yes. my problem is when I type * in the personal number field it displays id, personal number, start data, and end date. ID is SSN. I want the ID field to be gone. It should only display personal number, start date, and end date.

HEY ! Here I too can see the SSN but ..BUT only the last four are right the rest are mere running numbers ..so may be thats the way in your corp too?? Just a thought.
