Hello,
After deleting some functions in a functiongroup and transporting the modified group into the QAL-system the group is damagged.
All Includes with the groupname in it (LTOP, F01 and so on) are deleted and can no longer be found in the QAL-system, but the INCLUDE-statements in the main program of the functiongroup were not deleted.
The deletion of the functiongroup itself produced a return code 8 during import in the QAL-system.
Deleting the INCLUDE-statements in the functiongrooup itself using the editor is not possible, because the modification assistent protects them against modification.
So what can I do to delete the functiongroup in the QAL-system?
best regards
Günther

Hi,
Re-create the whole function group, and delete the whole group. Not only the function and the includes.

Hi Frédéric,
Thta's what I did meanwhile. The transport into the QAL produced an returncode 8 because of missing the TOP-Include, but the functiongroup was now complete (with all includes) and consistent. I run the program check to see if there is an error, but there was none.
So I deleted the whole functiongroup in the development system and transported into the QAL-system.
The TA produced an returncode 8 because the TOP-Include was missing!
But the TOP-Include was existent before and had it's regular content, I checked that!
I think, I'll write an OSS-message to SAP...
Anything is obviously completely wrong!
Thanks

Günther, if you think you are right with the transport and SAP wrong, you could modify the statut of the transport request in the transaction SE10.
You just have to pay the system admin to forget the return code

Hi Frédéric,
I know:
§1 The system is allways right!
$2 If the system isn't right, §1 becomes effective!
But what shall I do?
1.
TA produced retcode 8 because of missing TOP-include
2.
after actualization of the navigation index the check of the functiongroup in QAL is okay, every include is there, no error found by the extended progam check
3.
functiongroup deleted in development system and transported
4.
functiongroup is inconsistent again in QAL
I have the same situation as before: there are INCLUDE-statements left in the main program, refering to includes which were deleted!
I would like to beat the system admin, but unfortunately I know that he isn't guilty!
Now I'm at my wit's end!
Thanks
Günther

Hi Gunther,
Ask your Functional Guys or Leads to do in their IDs, coz they might be having previlage. If not you have to do that in DEV save it in a new Request and then Transport the new Request to QAS. Before doing this Please do not forget to check for Dependencies of other Objects.

Hey,
You dont need to delete the function group in the QAL system.
Transport the function group again from DEV to QAL. By that I mean Create a workbench request and in the request's object list add the entry <i>R3TR - FUGR - FunctinGroupName</i> and transport this request to QAL.
