Could someone please explain the purpose of RVVBTYP?

What does this program do and how does it relate to document category?

Hi,

This program is triggered for getting the Direct values for sales document categories.

At the very start of new values it checks the MRP / availability check information for any adjustment that needs to be carried out. This is an Include program which has all the required constants declared and can be used by programmers to validate the document category for a number of reasons.

For Eg - to find out if the current document category is eligible for delivery
