Inbound IDOC Processing

Hi All,

I have to process inbound idocs from xml file. I am using IDOC_XML_FROM_FILE. I am placing the file in the directory which is mentioned as the physical directory in ALE settings.

But I dont know how this function module exaclty works.

want to understand the concept. Please help.
