Inactive objects not in DWINACTIV

Hi Experts,

I have quite a few structures in the system which are inactive, but their entries are not available in DWINACTIV.

For this reason the tasks they belong to got released, can anyone help me out why these object entries are missing in DWINACTIV.

I think a task or request cannot be released if at least one of its objects is inactive (I'm talking about the status of the object, not the list of inactive objects in DWINACTIV). So I guess the object was active at the time of the release, and became inactive after that. Maybe there's a bug, or a special reason (SE14 failed? SPDD? user deleted? ...) but I don't think it's important to rely on the list of inactive objects. It's a tool for helping users know on which objects they are working on. You should better focus who has worked on these objects and why they are not active (which is different from finding out why they are not in any user's list of inactive objects)

Hi Sandra,

The problem is,

1. Tasks are released

2. Transport requests are not

3. The consistency check or list of inactive objects does not show any error

4. After this we create transport of copies and while releasing them we face the error of inactive objects

Finding who did it, is secondary, my primary concern is to know why does not SAP show me any error when I check the TR but throws me an error when I try to import them.

BTW - do you know of any FM which can give me the status of objects, or do I have to go to different tables( dd02l, dd03l,reposrc etc etc) to find out

I think you need to raise this with SAP Support. I've had problems with this table a few times and and manually repaired the entries, but I don't recommend doing this unless you know exactly what you are doing.
