In tcode PPOME, data getting saved even after msg NOT MODIFIABLE

I am using tcode PPOME in test server. When I try to change something, I get the message

Client 400 has status 'not modifiable'

Choose 'Display object' or 'Cancel'.

This is the message number : Message no. TK430

It means my changes should not hold. However, next it shows

Data has been saved.

And indeed the change holds.

Please help regarding this. Why this message is coming up and int hat case how it is getting saved

The message what you get is either a 'S' or an 'I' message.

So , after this message the control continues ... and saves the data
