HI,

We have the below formats in SAP

DOC, DAT, R3F, TXT, RAW,PPT,XLS

DAT is nothing but the BINARY

I got ur answer, but i find this question while am giving the file path, there i find ASC format also, so what is ASC format?

HI,

ASC format is nothing but the ASCII format, if you choose tis format, then the Data will convert to ASCII format then transfers the data

If you select the ASC format, then the Data will convert to ASCII format then transfers the data through the data communication.

Already you got the answer for .dat is for binary format.

I did it practically and i am givining answer.
