Implement OSS notes

Hi

Iam trying to implement OSS notes for the very first time.

When I download the OSS notes the status of it is 'Cannot be implemented'. ( Downloaded using SNOTE )

We are on 700 and package 12 and the note is for 700 and package 14.

How can i implement that note.Please help me in detail.

What is the application area of package 12.. is it BASIS ?

This note cannot be implemented via SNOTE in your system. Look at the correction instruction of Note 1262315 - DBACockpit: Space Overview Screen Errors they are only available for SAP_BASIS 700 from SP 14 to 17.

Correction is part of SAP_BASIS 700 SP18 and SP14 seems to have created/modified some not-abap objects (*) required for implementation that did not exist in your system. (Those objects existed in original delivery of 701 and 702)

If you actually require this correction, create an OSS message - http://service.sap.com/message . (Trying to manually adjust the source code with sscr keys (**) and looking for OSS notes (or asking people with more recent version) for the missing objects to successfully activate the modified objects and then test those, carry some risks.  So better look for SAP support via OSS message.)
