This is were you define the maximum or minimum number of occurences of a certain segment. Some segments can occur only once (header for example) while others can have any number for that particular segments.

The minimum number and maximum number tells us the occureneces us of teh segment

Example

If you have Purchase order..

The Po number may have

Min occurence and max occurence as 1

And line items

Minimum number 1

Maximum number 999999999

see the same structures will be repeated for that times ....here it is given as the hirarchy for the segment . means it can be used up to the max no of times . and in the we19 while testing you need to copy there segments for entering the data
