what is differance between idoc type and basic idoc type?

Hi

Both are same

when you saya IDOC type means it referes to BASIC IDOC type only

there is other type called extended IDOC type or IDOC extension

when we add some custom segments to the basic idoc it is called Estended IDOC

see the table EDBSG for basic IDOC types

you willsee different idoc types

also we have two idocs

1>master idoc

2>communication idoc
