IDOC

I need to find out IDOC strcutures and description of each field for the following IDOCs.

1)INVOICE( Inbound invoice from Vendor)

2)INVENTORY ADVICE(Outbound Inventory advice to Vendors)

3)PURCHASE ORDER(Outbound - Purchase oder)

4)PURCHASE ORDER ACK/SUGGESTED PO (Inboud - PO acknowledgement from Vendor)

5)PRODUCT TRANSFER AND RESALE REPORT (Outbound - sales report to Vendor)

I dont know how to find out the correct IDOC strusture for this specific application.

Can anyone please guide to on the same ASAP...

pls give some inputs...

Hello Jay,

You need to find the appropirate mesage type first :

Go to We30 for searching for IDOC TYPE

Example for Invoice INVOIC01 and INVOIC02....

for Purchase orders : ORDERS01 to 05

Thanx Greetson,

I have one basic doubt reg. Message Type and IDOC Type.

As ORDERS is the message type and it is having ORDERS01 to 05 as IDOC types.

So what is the difference between ORDERS01 , 02 and 03 ....???

Why there are different IDOC types for same business functionality..???

Depedending on wht logic we are going to select these IDOC types...??

I suggest WE60.This is the transaction for IDOC Documentation.

You can get all the details of your Idocs.

go to the tcode in WE60 and give the idoc name and choose the html format f8 ..
