IDOC type documentation

In 4.6C, IDOC Documentation (from WEDI) was pretty good and we could lookup the possible values for qualifier (with explanation) there itself..

Where do I get this information in 4.7? Right now my approach is go to SE11 and look up the domain values for the qualifier (based on segment fields).. But is there a better way?

Hi SSG,

Even in 4.7. Trxn WEDI - > Documentation -> WE60 (IDOC Types) and WE64 (Process codes)

Give the Basic Type/Segment/Enhancement and based on the checkboxes selected, will give documentation.

T.Code WE60 should be used. U can give the documentation of both the basic and extended Idoc types.

Hi SSG,

Do the following and you need not goto domain values to check the possible values.

In WE60...choose the menu option GoTo --> User Settings ..in the popup screen that you get select the check boxes ..."Documentatio Output" & "Export fld values"...save this....

after this inside we60 for any idoc type you will have an additional link "documentation"....which will give list of possible values...
