IDOC setup

Dear experts,

I am facing an isue with IDOC setup.

I have a standard Message type and an IDOC type (Basic type).

After doing all the necessary stups, I am unable to see in the IDOC the link between the Basic type and the Message type I assigned WE82, WE57 and also BD60. I want to use the structure of the Basic type which is standard and see also that in the IDOC I have created. The system used a defaullt COND_02 isntead WPDBBY01which is assigned to WPDBBY (mesage type) through the transactions I mentioned.

Why, at the time of IDOC processing system always picks up COND_02 which has nothing to do with the message type WPDBBY.

Thanks

Hi Andy,

Please check ur Partner profile.

Goto we20 select your logical system and Outbound parameters .

Here you can check your message type is assigned to your Idoc type .

Regards,

Venkat.

If I am right, the idoc created with type COND_02 not with WPDBBY01 though you have setup the ALE config for message WPDBBY.

Check your partner profile(WE20) & distribution model(BD64) whats the message type you have mentined..

Hello,

the message type in WE20 outbound paramenter is WPDBBY LS and also BD64 is showing teh same message type WPDBBY and basic type WPDBBY01.

So I really dont know. The functional module or method is bland in BD60 as I dont know which I want I should use.

Waht I need is only to create an IDOC out with the côrrect structure as above.

Thanks

The data I need to send are conditions. VK12 Transactions Then I send the conditions via IDOC.

Also when I use in BD60 CODA as my ref. messge I am able to see the message type WPDBBY and when I remove the ref. message from BD60 and put WPDBBY instead I dont see this message type when I use VK12 display my condition and then send condition open the message window and it is gone.

I dont know what this ref. field means in BD60.

Thanks

If you want send condition records why don't you use the message type COND_A & idoc type COND_A03.. This can be send via change pointer..

the structure of Conda doesnt fit the Business requirement and we want to keep the process separated and therefore require

a new message type ..

this is a complete .zip ... follow the link and click the button 'view article' -> the file will download then. i peeked into some of the files and i really think you should look at them closely -> it's for IS-Retail only, but you seem to have implemented this.
