Idoc segment set release

Hi I have a requirement i have created a segment with 2 fields and released the segement(Set release)......Now i want to add 1 more field....how can i acheive this.....can we do this by CANCEL RELEASE and what is the effect for this .....points will b erewarded definitely..

Hi,

If you extended the standard IDOC type, you can do that.

If you created a new IDOC type, that is not possible, you have to extend the IDOC type and add a new segment with your new field.

Hi..

In SE31 Select the Menu path EDIT-> CANCEL RELEASE.

Add the New field to Your Segment and Release it Again.

This will not give any probelm since it is the Custom Segment.

hi,

You can do this by canceling the release

and add ur new fields to that segment.

then release it once again.

u will face no probs
