thnks for the reply .
how can v se the idoc which are specific to user in work place,
and also we02 shows all the idoc with errors also do mean that business workplace has idoc which are not processed and are with errors.
What are workitem ..how are they created and why? and how to excute the work item ..it displays in workplace that when u excute workitem u will c the status.
pls help.

Typically in your scenario the work items are created, as there might be a post processing step configured for Idocs. By that i mean you will have Process Codes (Transaction WE42) which link to a standard workflow event. This event will aid you to react when idocs fail.
Typically it will contain a standard Start Event by this name "INPUTERROROCCURRED"
also you will have a post processing agent (WE20 transaction) configured where you define who the intended user(s) should be. Hope i answered your question.
