Idoc ORDERS05 error

Hi folks,

I'm getting a 'There is no article description for item xxxxxx' when I test this idoc type. But I can't find in the line item segment which fields need to be populated.

Could someone help please.

in t.code WE60 u can find the documentation/description of all segments and field s in the segment.there u can get the required field.

Unfortunately, in WE60 there are 7 generic 'Descriptions' - which one to use for the material description is really my question. There is no field for MAKTX or ARKTX in any of the segments, either of which I would have expected to see for next to a field 'Material Description'.

Any ideas?

Is this an inbound order?

If yes, then your inbound order does not contain the part number , International Article Number (EAN/UPC) and customer Material number.

Please check your maps. for a hint, please put a break point in program LVEDAF23 and try to integrate as this is where you are getting the error.

Thanks for this suggestion. It is an inbound document, but I cannot find any segment fields for those you listed above. Could you please provide field names and segment names for this idoc?

These are fields in your sales order.

The IDOC does not have the Article number or the Part number with correct qualf.

Please check your E1EDP01 segment to se if you are having the correct qualf?
