IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01 material description error

Hello,

This issue has arose only after our SAP box upgrade. While posting inbound IDOCs using standard FM IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01, it has suddenly started giving status error number 51 and application log error :"You have not fully maintained the descriptions". However, description for the material does properly exist.

Please suggest methods to resolve this error or if there is any note to be implemented for this.

Hi,

There is one recent note for this FM. it is 1943214 - Incorrect mandatory field check for plant-specific purchasing grouphttp://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1943214

Please check correction instruction and check if it is applicable.

Hi Chandra,

In correction instruction, the maximum version number seems to be 617, while ours is 720.

Is there another note for higher releases?

Sorry. It was within our version. However, I found another note relevant to our problem.
