Can any one tell what function modules in 4.7 actually take the initial data feed (from a flat file) and populate the internal staging tables that are used to create an idoc ?

Hi,

I don't have SAP system now but please check standard program RSEINB00.

If i am not wrong, FM IDOC_INBOUND_FROM_FILE is used to start inbound processing from file and generate an IDoc.
