Idoc Error Message DELFOR message type

Hello Gurus,

I am trying to process an inbound idoc file with DELFOR message type.

I have the following ALE configuration :

Message type DELFOR

Process code DELI

Function module IDOC_INPUT_DELINS_START

When process the idoc file, I have the following error :

Function module not allowed: IDOC_INPUT_DELINS_START

Message No. B1252

Diagnosis

The function module IDOC_INPUT_DELINS_START and the application object type BUS2035 which were determined are not valid for this IDoc.

I do not know which function module to use or which process code to use.

For the standard IDocs you don't need to specify any function modules.

What process code to use? There are usually only a few available. If one does not work then try another one, it's not that hard. We don't know your business scenario, so how would we make a choice for you?

I don't mean no disrespect but based on your other questions on the IDoc subject I'm wondering why were you assigned this task? It does look like you might need more ground level training on this. It's not unreasonable to ask the manager for additional training or for someone experienced to work with (and learn from).
