we will create port in we21 under file port for EDI.

Then check whether the sender and receivers logical system name is correct,

If correct then check the tRFC port which you have created for the both systems in we21.

If you are sending from for eg. logical system a1, then create the partner profile and port for from a1 to a2 system.

The RFC destination can be created in SM59

First create a destination in SM59 transaction and specify ur receiver ip address.

check in that itself by clicking the Remote logon button whether connecting with the receiver system.

Now in WE21 select transactional RFC node and click craete to create a new port and specify the destination there.

In WE20 specify this tRFC port.

Go to WE21 create the RFC port.

Then go to WE20 and create the partner profile.

Assign the idoc type and message type while creating the partner profile.
