Dear All,

I am very new to EDI/IDOC,

where do I change the logic or setting on generating an IDOC.

I need to change the contents of a PO IDOC. I saw segments with different fields and content, but where are to logics to populate those?

Is that a program ? Configurations? Where is it ?

For example , i want the footer notes of the IDoc to be change, where to change that ?

Thank you .

Hi Wong,

I am new to Idoc, but I have some information which might be useful to you,

How to find Idoc processing program.

1) I think you have one Idoc in development or Sandbox. So using WE02, Enter IDoc Number and press F8.

2) On displaying the IDoc, Note down all the information on the ''Techincal Short info'' window on right side. this is very important.

3) To find program : ...open other session with T-Code WE20, Select partner type on leftside panel, You will get partner type from above step.

4) you will know whether your IDOC is Inbound or outbound from step 2.

5) See in Inbound window if yor IDoc is Inbound and double click on the message type.

6) This will take you to process code.

7) double click on process code.

😎 you will see program which is driving this Idoc.

I hope this is useful, award me with points,

madhu
