IDOC DEBMAS empty field name2 missing

Hi,

I have created a reduced message type of DEBMAS. The segment E1KNNA1M contains field name2. When in the customer master this field is filled, it will be part of the IDOC. The field is in segment E1KNNA1M and filled.

When I clear the field name2 in eg. transaction XD02; an IDOC is created with segment E1KNNA1M, but without the field name2. It is not there, even not with a /. The behavior is the same for a change pointer IDOC (transaction BD21) as for a full load of a customer.

This is not only for the field name2, but also for others fields like telf1 and aufsd, if they are defined in reduced message type with transaction BD53.

I expect this can be solved by a customizing. Does someone have a solution?

Regards,

Wim

in which transaction and how do you view the IDOC when you see no slashes and no field at all?

if you enter the IDOC number in WE19, then you should usually see all fields together with the slashes

Hi Brad,

We didn't solved it in SAP, but in the receiving system, which is not a SAP system.
