Hi..

I have an EDI configuration for my material master distribution.

I want to create An IDOC for the concerned materials.

Can I use the transaction BD10 to create an IDOC with my EDI settings?

If not then how can I create an IDOC by using EDI settings?

Usually you use BD10 to transer material master data via the MATMAS03 IDoc from one SAP system to another. However you can still use this just to create MATMAS03 IDocs for another system. To do so..

- Setup a distribution model in BD64

- Create a file port in WE21

- Maintain a partner profile for LS in WE20

- Generate material master IDocs in BD10
