WHEN INFORMATION OF IDOC CONTROL RECORD GETS POPULATED EITHER BEFORE GET INTO ALE SEVICE LAYER OR AFTER GOT INTO ALE SERVICE LAYER?

plz explain me :master idoc only get into ale service layer,Is that master idoc contain control record?then when it will consult distribution model ?

After master idoc got into alv service layer it consult with customer service model it will converted into communication IDOCS for specific recipients?

Hi Neela,

Please expalin your problem in detail, If following is not useful:

Master IDOC contains all the recods (control record, data record & status record).

After that it will consult Distribution Model for the Sender and Receivers (Tcode -BD64) . Then Communication Idocs are generated for the identified receivers. After that a function module will distribute that Communication Idocs. Communication idocs are generated befor getting into ALE layer.

thanks for ur reply.plz tell me whether the control record in the master idoc contain the details(i.e., sender,receiver and msg type).If yes, how could it contain?, because it consults the distribution model only after the master idoc generation and only the communication idoc is recipient specific and not the master idoc.

The Header information will be filled in the Customer distribuiton model in the process after the master idoc created and before the Communication idoc gets created
