IDoc_change

Hello all,

I changed an IDoc ,then process it , it's ok now(53 status).  But I found the date is wrong, can I changed a correct IDoc?

no you cannot, SAP will issue error message EA156  when you try to change it.

if you enter the IDOC number in WE19, then you can change a value and when you save then SAP creates a new IDOC number.

But it is pretty much depending on the IDOC message type, if this new IDOC will overwrite the existing data and just create new data.

Do you want to create the same IDOC again with different date?What is the IDOC type your using?

Hello Vijay,

Yes, the IDoc date was wrong I need to change it, but it posted.

IDoc type:DELVRY07.

If you want to reprocess the IDOC with the correct date use the transaction code WE19 and enter the existing IDOC number and press enter. You will be faced with test tool for IDOC processing screen enter the correct value of date in corresponding field and click standard inbound icon. New IDOC will be generated. Get the old IDOC archived. If the IDOC is not completely processed process it in BD87 transaction

WE19 works all the time, question is if posting the new IDOC has the desired result. Test it in your Q-system
