I'm facing problem while applying OSS Note 1046758

Hi gurus,

I'm facing problem while applying OSS Note 1046758. That note is asking to create <b>J_1IEWT_ACKN_N</b> table.

After creating the table I went to the UTILITIES menu => TABLE MAINTENANCE GENERATOR.

Then OSS Note 1046758 is asking us to give the function group name as <b>J_1IEFILE</b>.

Next Choose <b>One Step</b>.

and then <b>Find Screen Numbers</b>.

While clicking the CREATE button it is not allowing me to assign the function group group J_1IEFILE.

How to overcome this problem.

Very urgent.

Any answers are welcome and will be rewarded .

Hi

Before implementing OSS note u shud create n acivate objects mentioned in the Note..

in ur case u hav to create data elemsnt J_1IACKN_NUMBER

then table : J_1IEWT_ACKN_N

den check whetr DataElement "J_1IPERIOD" is existing if not do as mentioned in the note....

to maintain the technical settings of the table

in the note it is mentioned that

<b>Assign the function group J_1IEFILE for the package J1IN for versions 4.7 and above.

Assign the function group J1I_TABLE_MAINT for the package J1ICIN30A for versions 4.6C and below.</b>

so check the version of ur system n den do

Eventhough I'm not getting the those values in the respective fields.

I mean, TDS Rate, ECESS Rate and CHENCK NUMBER.

More over, I want the FROM 16A should contain the Higher Education CESS field with values.

any notes has to be applied apart from this or what....

Wht are the table I have to maintain for this in SM30.

Kindly help me... It's urgent...

Hi Sheeba,

I got the TDS Amount, ECESS Rate in the Form 16A.

The thing is, in the table J_1IEWT_ECFLAG the field ECESS_SEPARATE value has to be maintained as 'X'. But in my table it was maintained as 2. That is why I was not getting it earlier. Now, I have changed it to 'X' and it's coming perfectly.

But still I'm not getting the Cheque Number.

What note has to be applied for Higer Education Cess.

Please. It's very Urgent.

1) The function group as J_1IEFILE.

2) Next Choose One Step.

3) then Find Screen Numbers.

4) then Click the Create Button

Instead of doing in this order I have done the 4th step and then I did the 3rd step.

then it was allowing me to Save and Activate and I have managed to do the Table Maintenance Generator.
