HR : leave request

Hi All,

I need some help in HR module. My requirement is to assign a flag to employee's leave request as per its present status like whether it's pending,approved or rejected. I don't want to create a z table.I want to know is there any such type of field in infotype 0005 that can cater my requirement.

In PA0005 i found fields FLAG1, FLAG2..FLAG4 and its descriptions say these are RESERVED FIELD/UNUSED FIELD. Can I use these fields for my purpose but also in future upgradation it may cause inconsistencies if SAP will use these flags.

And also if you can provide me FMs and BAPIs to update leave status please do so.

Hi Amit can you tell me where can we find the status of leave is it approved or rejected or pending?
