Hi,

I have just enabled a parameter auth/new_buffering to 4. This seems to be working fine in all case except when i am giving users access to HR related authorizations.

For eg if i gives a user access to PA30 or PA40 he dosent get that access even if logs out and logs in again. I have entered the tcodes in both P_tcode and S_tocode.

Can anyone please help!!!

Regards,

Chinmaya

If you add the transactions through the role menu you'll see that the two objects you've edited are only the tip of the iceberg........

Your use needs way more authorizations to start these transactions.

Hi Chinmaya,

What you need to do here is go to SU24 for these transactions and see the proposals for other authorisation objects.

You need to maintain these auth objects also in the role with which you are assigning to the user.

Hope it helps.

Thanks and Regards, Pradeep

Why? If PFCG does it all for you? I personally prefer to let the system work for me......

Hey Supreet,

Nice to hear from you too!

Since i enabled the parameter auth\new_buffering, I was convinced this had something to do with that!!! and I never did a Su53 or ST01 at all!!! Turns out you also need another object P_ORGXX alongwith P_ORGIN to start PA30

Cheers,

Chinmaya
