How to use data transfer and data mapping using Informatica (Datawarehouse)

Using Inforamatica people are trying to pull data from SAP tables. How?

for pulling data from table you can also use IDOC - and with the help of SAP XI you can integrate -

Hi,

I don't think informatica has the capability to pull the data directly from the sap tables, you should pass the data to informatica system by some means, ie either by a flat file or idoc's to the informatica system.

What sort of data do you want to transfer to informatica, depending upon your type of data we can decide whether we have standard idoc type for that or not, if not we need to go ahead with the custom stuff.

Hi Gowri,

Informatica can diretlcy connect to SAP Server and can Pull the table data .But for Pushing the the data Custom RFC or Bapi will serve the purpose . Informatica can give the IDocs also.
