I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO UPDATE THE Z TABLES WHEN AN EVENT IS RAISED.MY REQUIREMENT IS THAT WHEN AN EVENT LIKE PRICE UPDATE HAPPENS FOR A MATERIAL USING TRANSACTION THEN I HAVE TO UPDATE THE Z TABLE.PLEASE HELP ME IN THIS.

You have to find out a user exit at this particular position and write the code to update the Z table.

As Vinod said you should try to get the proper user exit before COMMIT WORK triggers and you should be care full in passing the right field to you Z* table.

Could you explain in which T-code you are trying to do this?
