when i change datatype and length existing field , its saying error, how to change existing field datatye and size in bapi structure

Which BAPI or structure are you trying to change?
P.S. If it's a table field, you can use SE14 to adjust the database. Maybe also for structures.

HI.
Go to SE14 and give your table ot struture name and press button "Ative and Adjust database." it will adjust automatically.

se14 not working that only for tables and view..
actually i created one stracture name zbapi_trbudget
in that i create 5 fields and activated.
after that i want change the one field datatype and lenght and i change that through se11 and activate that then giving error.

Can you add the Fields and types you use?
And the error log?
Changing the type should npot be a problem, maybe it does not exist? Could be the domain as well.
