how to fill the segment E1BPPAREX using exit

Hi Everyone,

I want to extend idoc MBGMCR03 to pass business area i.e. GSBER. When I try to extend this I am facing an error saying 'Action is not possible for generated idoc types'.

Now I am using E1BPPAREX Segment to add the structure and valuepart fields.

Could anyone please help me in how to fill the segment E1BPPAREX with structure name and field values using exit.

You might want to ask Tarun for your help he has just done the [same stuff |;with user-exit SDVFX010.

But my requirement is to generate a Material Document using Idoc not an invoice.

Any input in that direction would be helpful.

Hi Nimisha,

Segment E1BPPAREX can be filled in SAP-PI.

In ECC, we don't need to do any coding for this. Just create a structure in ECC and provide that name to SAP-PI.

SAP-PI will pass the structure and values to this segment. Please refer below blog for this.
