How to delete components from a structure ?

Hi SAP Guru’s

I have an issue at hand. I have added three components in the structure BUS000___I and the components are ZZ1, ZZ2, ZZ3, Now I would like to delete these components but the system is not allowing me to do so and is asking for the access code.

Please let me know how do I delete these components.

Please reply at the earliest.

Hi,

u must have created an append structure ryt.So delete that zstructure in SE11.Now ur components will also be deleted....

Hi Nagaraj,

Thanks for replying, I was following the EEWB wizard and from there these three components were made, can these be deleted directly from SE11. Because after adding these components I am getting a syntax error in all the tx where Business Partner is used.

try and see if there are any old versions for this strucutre if there are then try and activate them instead.

Amit,

If you know the Project name under which you had enhanced the table using transaction EEWB, you can right click on the enhancement and can choose change option and there in do the changes and activate it again.

Hi Sesh,

There are no old entries of this structure and the only structure that has come into this structure is ZBSTC0000000000 followed by three data elements of this structure. Can these be deleted directly from here?

Yes i see the activate option, after I activate it, How do I delete these Enhancement and this project and the structure that has come into this table since I do not want these anymore. this has disturbed my entire system and now no tX is working.

Delete this enhancement from the EEWB transaction only.... as with every enhancement, the EEWB creates lot many other objects. If you delete this structure by taking Access Key system will start throwing error for all the applications where this structure is being used....

Amit,

You have an option to delete the enhancement as well... use it. It will clear all the generated objects automatically on activation.

I have tried deleting the enhancement from EEWB but when i try deleting it, it always fall into an intermediate stage where it leaves some entries and due to these left over entries these errors are coming. Anyways I will try it once again. Another imp thing is that the structure that i have reported is a newly created one I cannot find this anywhere else. looks like this structure was created after executing the EEWB transaction only.

Hi Rahul,

The magic wand button used to activate an enhancement in EEWB has become inactive and now it is not getting activated, even after clicking on rt click enhancement then click change or by clicking on the change button on the top tool bar. This is unusual. Any clue.......
