How to debugg programm in backround

Hi All there,

I have modified one report in which we have added few coloumn the report is working fine if executed in foreground but if execute in backround those aded coloumn are not getting displayed, what could be the n how to debugg the program in backround.

Hi,

Go to sm50 tcode. select the process which is running on your user name.

In main menu go to "Program/process"--->program---> debugging.

Immediately it will goto in debugg mode.

DEBUG PROGRAM IN BACKGROUND

1. Go to sm37

2. F8

3. Select job

4. give t.code JDBG in command window

5. enter

It will start debug

Hi Sagar,

If you execute the report in the background which has the coloumns exceeding 255 they would not be displayed in the spool request.Try to use the option shift+f4 in the spool transaction where in you can see the whole report output.
