Hi Gurus,
Can any one tell me how to debug dynamic calls?
The scenario is:
I know the message that is getting fired from a message class.
I didnot find its usage from the where-used list, as it says - possible dynamic calls.
How do i know, from where this message is getting fired?
Pls suggest.
Thanks, Rashmi
Hi,
Can you give some more information. When do you get the message. which program or transcation are you executing?

Thanks soumya,
It is a message class within my application package. And not a sap common package.
I should be able to trace this right?

if dats not a standard one i.e. its a customized one, .. then wont be much prob to find the use... at least give a where used on the message class and see if dats giving u any value...
by the way.. isnt that message documented??

No, i tried the where-used list and it says- No usage found, possible dynamic calls.
So, is there a way to debug these dynamic calls? Thats my question..

Hi,
Just try this
In the new debugger Breakpoints --> Breakpoint at --> Breakpoint at Statement
give MESSAGE
This will set break point at all message statement. Execute till you get the message

Hi,
I have an idea, but i've not tried this.
In the SYST there is MSGID (Class Message Name).
You can set in debug a watchpoint SYST-MSGID = Custom Class. Remove all BreakPoints and press F8.
