how to create profiles , roles, authorizations programatically in R/3

hi

i am writing appl which uses JCO. i need to provide following fuctionality programitically. I know how to do it using dialogs.

1) Creation of Profiles ( Manually)

2) Generation of Profiles (invoking Profile Generator)

3) Creation of Roles and their assignemt to Profiles

4) Creation of Authorizations and their assigment to Roles

5) Creation of Authorization Objects

There seems to be no released BAPI available for above task.

Please help. Any idea pls contribute.. may be we together figure out how to do it programatically.

Hi Vishal,

Have a look at FM's under function group PRGN,PRGN_CONVERSION, PRGN_AUTH and PRGN_CATT.

use Call Transaction. My Basis team did User Creation using CATT tool

Hi Vishal,

If you are ok with using BDC, do this. Create a BDC recording to do your task, and get the program from the recording. Now, use this program to create your own RFC function module, so that you can use these from your java application.
